GACP AUSTRALIA STATEMENT OF FOUNDING SPIRIT

GACP was founded upon the idea that people of all races, creeds and cultures can come together in unity and harmony.

Through using the common language of culture and arts to dissolve cultural prejudices and misunderstandings, and through the awareness and appreciation of each other's differences, GACP proposes to contribute to the development of a peaceful world culture and a value-driven global citizenry.

Sports have the distinctive quality to transcend boundaries allowing people of different circumstances and perspectives to interact in the name of friendly competition. Through arts, peoples can express themselves and their cultures in various ways. This gives way to a sharing of cultures, promoting greater understanding, acceptance and appreciation of each other's differences while making the most of the similarities we share in the human condition.
